the shed drinking team

Since I've worked at The Shed, I only really go out with other people from The Shed. In the last two weeks, pretty much the whole staff has changed, mainly because they hire mostly backpackers. I'm second in length of stay, next to Nelson as far as backpackers go. With new employees, means new drinking mates. We've got a great little foursome happening at the moment, other than the large groups that sometimes make it out. This new group consists of Kieirn and Bazz, the kiwi brothers I mentioned a few weeks ago, and Mick Jagermeister. We went out Wednesday with a group of about 8 employees, and the pictures I found on the Internet are fabulous.
Unfortunately this ones a little out of focus, but thats Kierin in the stripes, Wayne up front, and Bazz poking Mick Jager in the face.

I put an ad on the Internet looking for someone with a car to drive me up the coast, and got a reply from some German girl. It looks as if we are going to leave in July sometime, which means my days at The Shed are wearing down. But my plan is to take off for a month, see this side of the country, come back to Perth, work for another few weeks, then fly back to the East coast with Drew to write that chapter. But as I've learned many times so far, it's very hard to plan out how long things take, and where they are going to take you.

the shirt says it all.
